Six months ago yesterday Debbie moved to Guatemala to foster Hannah. That was a scary day for all of us, but our lives are wonderful now. We believe if Debbie did not move to Guatemala, Hannah would have never come home to us.We are in the process of stopping Hannah’s one bottle a day, at bedtime. It is a little difficult for all of us. We feel bad when she cries for her “ba-ba”, but we feel she is old enough to not have one anymore.Hannah is doing great. She still copies everything and makes us copy her. She picks up new words all the time. Last night we walked around our neighborhood while Hannah rode her new Hello Kitty Tricycle and looked at the Christmas lights. Hannah would say “wow” and point at all the lights.
Hannah has taken over one of our kitchen cabinets. We took everything out and she filled it up with toys. She climbs in and says "bye" and closes the doors. She will then sit in the dark calling "Nana" so we will look for her. She laughs hysterically when we open the door. She must have been a good girl because Santa has been doing A LOT of shopping for her. It is hard to not give her the presents as soon as we get home, but we need to wait for Christmas. We can’t wait for Hannah’s first Christmas at home.

I'm glad Hannah is doing so well. It is amazing how much these little ones pick up once they get home. I totally understand about wanting to give the princess the presents right away. I have the same problem and also want to buy way more than is needed.
ENJOY!!!
Maysa loves boxes as well...but rarely plays with her toys. She finds it more fun to get into everything and I mean everything! Hannah looks wonderful and I'm sure you are glad to have her home to celebrate her first Christmas as a family!
Have fun celebrating the holidays!
